Wine consumers have been subdued by its elegant, uniquely soft wines with full bodies and ripe tannins. The country’s distinctive wine is Carmenere – a powerful red with subtle flavors. Recent studies have revealed that Chilean wines have the world’s highest levels of flavanol, a natural health-protecting antioxidant.
