Domeniile Sahateni is a 100% private company, a family business, established in 2003  as a reaction of the passion for the wines of its shareholders.
The location has been chosen very carefully based on many years of experience in different location; it is situated quite in the middle of  Dealu Mare area where the soil and climate provides the best condition for high quality wines.
The winery have the facilities to process about 1.000 to grapes / season (30 % whites and 70% reds) all in stainless steal with automatic  temperature control. An underground cellar is assuring excellent condition for Romanian oak barrique maturation of some red wine batches. A completed automatic bottling machine is available with a capacity of 1.500 btls of 75 cl. /h  as well as a modern warehouse for storage and ageing of the bottled wine
Part of grapes are coming from vineyards ( a total area of 100 ha ) located in  the villages of  Săhăteni, Năeni and  Gura Vadului and part of the grapes are purchasing from the private growers from the same area.
The main grapes varieties processed are: Feteasca neagra, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot noir from reds and Feteasca alba, Riesling italian, Sauvignon blanc, Tămăioasa Romăneasca and Muscat Ottonel from the whites.
Our Divin Reserva range is created especially for restaurants and specialists, in a modern but elaborated presentation  which includes 5 wines: 3 reds and 2 white. All the wines are blends of 2 or 3 grape variety out of which at least one is a Romanian variety.
The wines are sophisticated, specially made for the connoisseurs who appreciate a special wine.
