Ruby-red wine, with good aromatic intensity and touches of pepper and roasted red pepper, with some paprika or dry pepper; the wooden notes have been fully integrated after ageing 12 months in French oak barrels. It feels soft and it lingers in the mouth, with good structure, ripe and successfully achieved tannins that appear sweet. The body of this wine makes it an ideal match for semi-hard or aged cheeses, or important and complex dishes of spiced red meat. The sediment in the bottle is the result of a slight polyphenol deposit, suggesting the simple and natural winemaking technique used. |
